Josh is almost in first grade. I am, yet again, bewildered by how fast the time flies. Right now, he's interested in karate, cartoons and treats. I can't imagine what it's going to be like in ten years.
I loved your quotes on the side. If you want to catch up with us you can check out my blog. www.higleyheroes.blogspot.com When did Josh get so big? Does that mean Katie is/will be baptized this year? Wow. Hope you are well. Email or comment or contact me somehow.
Jen says I should document all the funny things my kids say and do. So, here they are:
I was reading on my bed while the boys were watching a movie. Pretty soon Adam came in and started hanging on my door. Then he went out, shutting the door as went. After a second I could hear Josh exclaim, "Yay! Yay! We're free! We're free!" This morning Josh and Katie were racing to see who could get dressed the fastest and Josh won. He came out of his room and said, "I kicked all of her trash all gone!""Mom! We advertised the deck!" "What? Oh, you organized the deck."Every night when I ask Katie what song she wants me to sing she always asks for "The Spirit of God".Josh called Jen the other night and said, "My nickname is Cool. That's all." And then he passed the phone to me.When Adam was about 6 months old I decided I better try getting in shape. So I started running every morning. One morning I was getting out of the shower when Katie came in and said, "Mom, you need a bigger towel." I laughed. :)
